Security is our priority at this facility. Resident entrances are locked 24 hours a day, residents access the building using electronic key-tags and resident entrances are video monitored around the clock both inside and out. Guests use an intercom system to access individual rooms. First floor offices are armed to alert the police in the event of an attempted break-in. Supportive services and leasing staff are on site week-days and property management staff walk through the building evenings and weekends.

The YWCA residence is ideally situated just blocks from beautiful Lake Erie and the Black River Landing, located in the heart of downtown Lorain, directly on the bus route making it a snap to access vital community agencies as well as shopping, doctors and area campus educational institutions such as LCCC and JVS. The Lorain campus is within easy walking distance from banks, groceries, the post office and many local restaurants and retailers.
